November 29, 2011 - Standard & Poor's raised the long-term counterparty credit rating on Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited to 'A+' from 'A-' and the short-term counterparty credit rating to 'A-1' from 'A-2'. The Outlook is stable.

May 30, 2007 - Moody's Investors Service changed the outlook for long-term bank deposit ratings on Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited to stable from positive. At the same time, Moody's Investors Service affirmed 'Aa3' long-term and 'P-1' short-term local and foreign currency bank deposit ratings on Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited. The Bank Financial Strength Rating is 'C+'.
