You can make deposits or withdrawals anytime. Interest is accrued daily and automatically credited to your account semi-annually.

Multi-Currency Savings Deposits
We offer a one-stop, flexible and convenient way to manage your deposit of various foreign currencies including  USD, GBP, CAD, THB, JPY, AUD, EUR, CHF, NZD and NOK. What is more, you may opt to receive monthly statement listing full details of your account activities.

Fixed Deposits
We offer a comprehensive range of fixed deposits.  You may choose from various terms and currencies including HKD, USD, GBP, CAD, THB, JPY, AUD, EUR, CHF,NZD, NOK. For your convenience, we can also renew your fixed deposits according to your specific instructions in advance.

Remarks:
1. In accordance with the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Ordinance, no withholding tax is levied on interest earned from deposit accounts.
2. To facilitate the deposit process, customers are advised to purchase bank drafts drawn on the Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited and made out to the depositor’s name as it appears in his/her passport or on his/her identity card.

Remitting funds has never been so easy! All you need is to open an account with us and simply provide us with the relevant written information (i.e. name and address of the beneficiary, currency and amount of remittance, name and address of the beneficiary's banker, beneficiary's account number), we will take care of your remittance process.
