|
| 1. | The following information ("this Supplemental Information") is supplemental to the BOC Credit Card (International) Limited Card User Circular ("Circular") in respect of any MasterCard SideCard issued by the Company in conjunction with a MasterCard credit card ("MasterCard SideCard"). |
| 2. | Where the context permits, references in the Circular to:- |
| "Cardholder" shall include a person to whom and in whose name a MasterCard SideCard is issued by the Company; | |
| "Main Card" includes any MasterCard SideCard; | |
| "Circular" includes this Supplemental Information; and | |
| "relevant credit card user agreement" includes its supplemental terms and conditions. | |
| 3. | The card number and the expiry date of the MasterCard SideCard is the same as its corresponding credit card. The MasterCard SideCard shall share the same credit limit with its corresponding credit card. |
| 4. | The Cardholder should not insert or attempt to insert the MasterCard SideCard into any ATM. The Cardholder will be liable for any damages caused to the ATM as a result of his/her improper use of the MasterCard SideCard and will compensate the Company for all costs, expenses and liabilities incurred or otherwise sustained by us in connection with or arising out of any such damage. |
| 5. | The MasterCard SideCard can only be used at terminals where it is swiped to complete any transaction. The MasterCard SideCard cannot be used at terminals where it is to be inserted in a slot to complete any transaction. |
| 6. | The Cardholder will be fully liable for all losses and damages arising out of or in connection with any improper use of the MasterCard SideCard in contravention of the restrictions described in Clauses 4 and 5 above. The Cardholder will compensate the Company for all losses, damages, liabilities and all reasonable costs and expenses reasonably incurred or otherwise sustained as a result thereof. |
| 7. | In the event of any reported loss or theft of either the MasterCard SideCard or the corresponding Card, the right to use both Cards will cease immediately. |
| 8. | In the event of suspension or termination of either the MasterCard Side Card or the corresponding Card (whether by the Cardholder or the Company), the right to use both Cards will be immediately suspended or terminated (as the case may be). |
| 9. | Details of the applicable charges in respect of the MasterCard SideCard are listed on the BOC Visa/MasterCard Credit Cards Fees Schedule. |
