Building on the success of our "Green X Gen Z" Internship Programme, we are proud to introduce the enhanced Gen Z Internship Programme 2026 — expanding beyond our established ESG stream to now include an additional dedicated Fintech stream, demonstrating our continued commitment to both sustainable finance and digital innovation.

This 8-week summer internship offers interns hands-on experience, forward-thinking insights within their assigned stream and as well as cross-functional exposure in both streams. Stream placement will be determined based on each intern's interests and academic background etc., ensuring a meaningful and relevant learning experience that equips them with the skills and perspective needed to thrive in the evolving financial industry.

Internship Highlights

Through the 8 weeks internship, the interns will gain practical work experience, supplemented by specialized training and mentorship. The major highlights include:

• On-the-Job Assignment & Training

Interns will engage in hands on assignment in the real-world business scenarios, gaining practical experience in either ESG or Fintech field.

• Cross-Disciplinary Learning and Knowledge Sharing

Interns can deepen their expertise in their assigned stream, while broadening their perspectives by exploring the emerging trends across both streams through the peer learning and collaborative projects.

• Guidance from both Mentor and Buddy

Experienced mentor/buddy will be assigned to provide guidance and advice on your professional growth and development in banking industry.

Internship Period

02 July 2026 – 21 August 2026 (8 weeks) 

Requirements

• Undergraduate students or above who are currently studying in the universities in Hong Kong, with strong interest in ESG / FinTech fields
• Strong academic performance and desire to pursue career in the banking industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
• Self-motivated, passionate, responsible and strong team spirit
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese proficiency
