How to participate in the Mileage Awards and redeem mileage?
- Before first time redemption, customer must register their own membership number of relevant participating airline(s) via BOC Credit Card (International) Ltd. 24-hour customer service hotline 2214 3433 in order to participate in Mileage Awards and redeem mileage.
Is there any minimum redemption requirement?
- For first time redemption, the minimum level shall be 1,000 Miles (applicable for Asia Miles)/Miles Points (applicable for Eastern Miles)/Kilometers (applicable for PhoenixMiles) (collectively "Mileage"). Redemption shall be in multiples of 500 Mileage thereafter. The conversion rate of Gift Points to Mileage may differ for each participating airline, and it may be varied from time to time. The latest conversion rate is available at our website.
Is there any handling fee for mileage redemption?
- A handling fee of HK$50 will be charged for every conversion of 5,000 Mileage (for conversion of less than 5,000 Mileage, the handling fee will be charged at the same rate as 5,000 Mileage redemption), subject to a minimum of HK$100 or a maximum of HK$300 per transaction. No handling fee will be charged for mileage redemption using BOC Private Card or BOC Cheers Card.
How long does it take for the mileage redemption to complete?
- Under normal circumstances, the mileage redemption transaction will take up to 2 to 3 weeks to complete.
