Exchange Express (standing instruction) service for automatic RMB exchange and transfer1
To facilitate customers conveniently handle RMB exchange transactions without frequent visit to branches, customers can pre-set automatic HKD to RMB exchange instruction according to predetermined schedule through Exchange Express service. Apart from setting up Exchange Express service at branch, customers can also set up standing instruction through Internet Banking:

Wealth Management customers can enjoy currency exchange offer of 30 bps by converting HKD to RMB deposits via Exchange Express set up at any branch, Manned Phone Banking Services, Phone Banking or Internet Banking of BOCHK.

HKD and USD Deposit Offers
Wealth Management customers can enjoy up to 1.17% p.a. preferential deposit interest rate3 upon placing designated HKD or USD time deposit with new funds4 via branches.

  2. RMB is currently not fully freely convertible and conversion of RMB through banks is subject to a daily limit. Customers should allow time for exchange of RMB from/to another currency of a RMB amount exceeding the daily limit.
