  • Apart from submitting my application online, can I send my resume to the Human Resources Department via email?
    In order to better safeguard your privacy, and facilitate us processing the considerable amount of applications swiftly, we only accept applications that are submitted via our online application system.
  • My major discipline isn’t related to financial, economics, accounting or commerce, will my application be considered?
    We welcome students from any disciplines and who are interested in developing their career in banking industry to apply our positions.
  • I do not understand Cantonese or Mandarin, will my application be considered?
    All positions require applicants to be proficient with Chinese and English;fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is required.
  • What should I do if I forget my login password of the online application system?
    You may simply go to the applicant login page and click “Don't know your password?” button to recover your login password.
  • How do I know I have completed my application?
    You will receive our confirmation email when you have completed all required steps. If you do not receive the confirmation email, please contact us directly.
  • Can I amend my application after submission?
    You are welcome to update and edit your application details anytime before submission. However, you will not be able to amend your application afterwards.

  • I am currently studying abroad or on overseas exchange, how shall I submit my application? Will my application being affected?
    Regardless of the geographical location that you are currently at, you shall submit your application via our online application system, and the entire application process remains the same. In principle, you are required to attend our Assessment Centre in person for our better assessment of your overall competence. If you are currently staying overseas, please state your situation and availability for interviews in your online application. We will try our best to adjust the arrangement accordingly.
  • What is the targeted number of graduate intake this year?
    The final number of hires will largely depend on applicants’ performance during rounds of assessments, weighed against the manpower needs of different departments.
  • How can I keep myself updated with my application progress? Upon submission of my application, when will I be informed of the selection arrangement?
    You may keep yourself abreast of your application progress at your applicant portal. Qualified applicants will receive emails from us for further arrangements 8 weeks after the application deadline.
  • To enrich my learning experiences, do I have any opportunities to work overseas?
    Our MTs shall enjoy opportunities to rotate and work in the Mainland and/or countries in some of the Southeast Asian countries to enrich their learning experiences. All other staffs will be also given various chances to participate in overseas secondment or learning programmes throughout your career journey, depending on our business needs.
