FROM 19 OCTOBER 2022 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, FOR POLICIES WHICH ARE STILL INFORCE, BOCG INSURANCE EXTENDS THE COVERAGE OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

Travel Delay (Delay must be at least 6 consecutive hours or above) 1. The insured person is hospitalized due to confirmed COVID-19 infection during the Journey and cannot return to Hong Kong. 2. The insured person is placed under mandatory quarantine due to suspected COVID-19 infection during the Journey^ and cannot return to Hong Kong. 3. Reimbursement of irrecoverable prepaid quarantine hotel expenses, due to confirmed COVID-19 infection during the Journey that prevents the insured person from checking into the quarantine hotel upon return to Hong Kong, on the date prearranged prior to commencement of Journey. |

Severe Incident Extended Cover
Extended cover for the basic benefit of "Cancellation" and "Curtailment": The insured person or travel companion is placed under mandatory quarantine^ due to suspected COVID-19 infection during the Journey or within 7 days before commencement of the Journey (excluding Home Quarantine). |

^Mandatory quarantine means the Insured Person is required to comply with quarantine regulations by confinement to a location designated by the government until discharge (excluding Home Quarantine). The insured must provide proof that he or she is placed under Compulsory Quarantine by the government
Extra Cash Allowance
Infectious Disease Cash Allowance Compulsory Quarantine (excluding Home Quarantine) imposed on the Insured Person during the Journey or within 7 days upon return to Hong Kong as a result of being suspected or confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 |

(For the same loss, if the insured is compensated in accordance with the above benefit, the company is no longer required to make compensation for the Section 3.5 benefit ("Medical and Relevant Expenses -Daily Hospital Cash benefit")).
- If the insured is affected by COVID-19 and is unable to return to Hong Kong before this Policy expires, the Period of Insurance will be automatically extended for a maximum period of 10 days for free. For extension over 10 days, please contact BOCG Insurance.
In case of any disputes, BOCG Insurance reserves the right of final decision.

- Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited (“BOCHK”) is an appointed insurance agent of BOCG Insurance for distribution of the Plan. The Plan is a product of BOCG Insurance but not BOCHK.
- In respect of an eligible dispute (as defined in the Terms of Reference for the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre in relation to the Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme) arising between BOCHK and the customer out of the selling process or processing of the related transaction, BOCHK is required to enter into a Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme process with the customer; however any dispute over the contractual terms of the Plan should be resolved between directly BOCG Insurance and the customer.
- BOCG Insurance is authorised and regulated by the Insurance Authority to carry on general insurance business in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.
- BOCG Insurance reserves the right to accept or decline any application for the Plan based on the information provided by the proposed insured and/or insured person at the time of application.
- BOCG Insurance reserves the right to amend, suspend and terminate the above products, services and offer and to amend the relevant terms at any time at its discretion without prior notice. In case of dispute, the decision of BOCG Insurance and BOCHK shall be final.
