Convenience account opening

  • Customers need to hold BOCHK securities accounts and Multi-Currency Savings Accounts to open US stocks services
  • Existing customers can open US stocks services through Mobile Banking (Click left upper corner icon and click “Securities” > “Open HK/A Shares/US Securities Account”), Internet Banking (Login Internet Banking and click “Investment” > “US Securities” > “Open/Register Account”) or visit BOCHK branches. If customers do not hold securities accounts and Multi-Currency Savings Accounts, you can still open it through Mobile Banking, Internet Banking or visit BOCHK branches
  • New customers can visit BOCHK branches to open US stocks services
  • Fill in US Internal Revenue Service W-8Ben form
