If you do not have a BOCHK bank account and a BOC credit card, you can enjoy various services on BoC Pay by opening a Payment Account. The steps are as follows:
- Click "Register" on the Home page. Select "I do not have BOCHK Bank Account and BOC Credit Card". Prepare the required documents for the registration process. Enter your mobile number and verification code.
- Click "Start HKID Card Capture" to capture the front and back of your HKID by placing your HKID card within the frame.
- Ensure all of the images are clear and the information is correct. Select "Nationality (Country/Region)" (if necessary) and click "Confirm".
- Follow the instructions shown, such as turning your head, opening your mouth and blinking your eyes in order to complete the face recognition process.
- After the face recognition, fill in your address and email address, and click "Next".
- Complete the tax residency information and click "Next".
- Set daily transaction limit and click "Next".
- Check all the information carefully and click "Confirm".
- Set and confirm payment passcode and click "Confirm".
- Select whether to activate biometric authentication.
- Enter the SMS one-time password.
- Registration complete, you can start using BoC Pay.
