2. How do I top-up my Payment Account?

If you have not set up an Electronic Direct Debit Authorisation (eDDA) before, you will need to do so in BoC Pay by following these steps:

  1. Select "My Account" on the upper-right corner of the Home page (or enter via "Account Overview" in the Menu).
  2. Select "Payment Account".
  3. Click "Manage".
  4. Select "Set up" in "Top-up Account" to enter eDDA set-up.
  5. Your name, HKID number shown on the page is not amendable.
  6. Choose the bank from the list.
  7. Enter your bank account number.
  8. Submit the application by clicking "Next".
  9. Enter the SMS one-time password received.
  10. SMS and email notifications will be sent to you when the result is received.

After setting up an eDDA, you can top-up your account by following these steps:

Method 1: Top-up on the Home page

  1. Select "Top-up" and enter the amount.
  2. Enter payment passcode or use biometric authentication.
  3. Top-up completed.

Method 2: Top-up in "My Account"

  1. Select "My Account" on the upper-right corner of the Home page (or enter via "Account Overview" in the Menu)
  2. Select "Payment Account".
  3. Select "Top-up" and enter the amount.
  4. Enter payment passcode or use biometric authentication.
  5. Top-up completed.
