Green
Community
We recognise that promoting sustainability requires the collaboration of all sectors of the community. By sponsoring various partners to promote a diverse range of environmental projects, we work together to put our environmental philosophy into practice and strive to build a greener future.

We recycle all food waste in our staff canteen and turn it into useful materials. Posters on waste reduction are displayed in the staff canteens to actively inculcate the concept of food and waste reduction among our staff. We also provide vegetarian and other low-carbon dietary menus to minimise carbon emissions.

We actively participate in the annual “Green Low Carbon Day” organised by the Community Chest. Donors will receive a commemorative MTR tickets. This encourages the public to reduce carbon emissions by using public transport, and at the same time benefit “green-related projects” supported by the Community Chest.

We join “Earth Hour” program and participate in the signature lights-off event with thousands of landmarks around the world, to promote “Habits Protect Habitats” concept and unite people around the world to create a sustainable low-carbon future.

In response to the needs of low-income people and new immigrant families for computers, we donate reusable office equipment to various charitable organisations every year. This helps the underprivileged and at the same time protects the environment.

We support “Used Red Packets Recycling Campaign” to collect used and intact red packets, which are processed and distributed free of charge to the public by green organisations in the following year. We also encourage our customers to use electronic red packets as a more convenient and environmental friendly way to share the joy of Chinese New Year with friends and family.
